Liam exudes in soundness, moderation and type. He is a bit more than 23 1/2 inches at the withers (jumps 24 inches) and weighs 73 pounds. He maintains a solid topline with effortless movement, perfect foot timing and has always free stacked himself perfectly. Liam has full dentition, jet black pigment, nice tight feet, a beautiful expressive head piece and a honey color coat that is wash and wear as can be. Most importantly, he has that sweet, will-do-anything-please temperament. The comment consistently made about Liam is that he is so good.
Liam was one of the show picks at 7 weeks old. Sadly, when placed at his new home, another dog completely unrelated to Liam attacked him causing permanent trauma to his left eye. This never effected
vision or CERF. In order to try to correct the trauma, Liam had multiple surgeries, which left a scar and slight nerve damage above his left eye. In spite of the obvious eye trauma, Liam went on to win puppy classes and ultimately finish his championship with three majors. Because Liam is a family member first, we chose not to send him out to finish quickly. In fact, because of his eye surgeries, us moving across country, pursuing obedience, he took lots of time off. His final points were garnered when he was four and five years old. Liam earned his CD easily from Novice B in three consecutive shows. He earned his CDX with all scores in the 190's including a 1st placement. On August 14th of 2005 Liam earned his Working Certificate, qualifying for the GRCA's Versatility Certificate. On April 8th 2006 Liam earned his JH. In March 2008 at almost 10 yrs old Liam earned his NAP and NJP, which qualified him for the GRCA Versatility Certificate Excellent.
